VVCC Student Ministries exists to help Middle & High School students move from wherever they are to where God wants them to be.

It's our goal to change the trajectory of verde valley’s future by learning what it means to be a family and to be a srvnt.

Jesus’ commandment to his disciples was this, “Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” John 15:12-13

The world is hurting and everywhere we look we see the scars of sin. We see them especially on the lives of our children and teens. Here at SRVNT we exist to serve one another, the Verde Valley, and beyond in order to show the love of Jesus and to prove that He can transform even the deepest scars into stories of healing and victory in Him.

Our students become family members that share one another’s burdens, work together, have fun together, go on mission trips together, and even eat dinner together. It’s by John 15:12-13 and also by Galatians 6:10, which says, “Therefore, whenever we have the opportunity, we should do good to everyone—especially to those in the family of faith” that we derive our goal: serve one another and love others the same way Jesus loved us.

Our title is derived from what Jesus says the leaders of his kingdom would look like. “But among you it will be different. Whoever wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and whoever wants to be first among you must become your slave. For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.” Matthew‬ ‭20‬:‭26‬-‭28‬
