Volunteering exists at VVCC to help volunteers and those they serve take steps from wherever they are to where God wants them to be.

You can make a difference

Each week at VVCC, dozens of people just like you give their time to serve. Whether it’s helping kids take their next step in Children’s Ministry, greeting first-time guests, or working behind the scenes with production, every volunteer is making a difference!

We know you’re busy and have a number of things competing for your time. But we also know you’ll meet new friends and grow in your relationship with Jesus when you start serving. We want to help connect you to your God-given gifts through serving opportunities. That's why serving is not something we want from you, but something we want for you.

There’s a serving opportunity that suits your gifts, abilities, and availability. Take a look at a few of our ministries, and sign up to get more information!

Guest Services

If you love people – or just love to serve – Guest Services might be your area to serve in. From parking, to greeting, to serving coffee and snacks, you’ll help prepare for or welcome everyone who comes to church, whether regular attendees or first time guests, and ensure they have a positive experience.

Children's Ministry

If you’re passionate about kids (5th grade and younger) taking steps closer to where God wants them to be and supporting parents as the spiritual leaders of their families, you can have a direct impact on encouraging families to connect with God through serving in Children’s Ministries. Serving opportunities range from working with kids directly to serving in supporting roles. All of these opportunities require a background check.

Student Ministry

Student Ministry exists to help 6-12th grade students take steps from wherever they are to where God wants them to be. We want every student to know that they have a person who is for them and a place to belong. If you love Jesus, middle and high school students, and services designed for them, then this may be a great place for you to serve. Student Ministry meets every Wednesday night from 6:30-8:00pm and has a variety of different volunteer roles. All of these opportunities require a background check.

Creative & Tech

If you’re creatively or technically wired (or want to learn), this may be a great place for you to serve. This team serves on Sundays to create engaging and meaningful services that help people connect with God and worship Him - all while worshipping Him yourself! Whether your creative gifts are in music or A/V technology, there are a variety of serving opportunities to use your creative and technical abilities.

Campus Support

Use your skills and abilities to maintain and beautify our campus or assist with campus operations. From welcoming and checking in volunteers on Sunday to maintaining our facilities and assisting with operations during the week, these significant teams help keep our campus humming and help prepare for the upcoming Sunday services. Campus Support includes a variety of serving opportunities that take place during the week at the church building or before/after Sundays services.
